Upon successful completion of the clinic and safety practical, you will be certified for Basic Rifle Safety with the US Biathlon Association and able to compete in races using a .22 rifle.

The morning starts off in the classroom and covers the history of biathlon, firearm basics, and how to safely participate in biathlon using a .22 rifle.  At the conclusion of the classroom portion, you'll then go to the shooting range for orientation and practice.

Schedule

• 0945 - 1000: Check in
• 1000 - 1200: Classroom instruction
• 1200: Lunch break (bring a lunch!)
• 1300: Meet at the range for the practical portion of the course
• 1300 - 1530: Range orientation and practice
• 1530: Range cleanup
